LA COMMISSIONE DELLE COMUNITÀ EUROPEE,

visto il trattato che istituisce la Comunità europea,

visto il regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 del Consiglio, del 20 dicembre 2002, relativo all'attuazione del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley per il commercio internazionale di diamanti grezzi in particolare l'articolo 20,

considerando quanto segue:

(1) L'articolo 20 del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 consente di modificare l'elenco dei partecipanti al sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley di cui all'allegato II.

(2) Il presidente del sistema di certificazione del processo di Kimberley ha deciso, mediante avviso datato 27 luglio 2005, d’inserire l’Indonesia nell’elenco dei partecipanti a decorrere dal 1o agosto 2005. Occorre pertanto modificare di conseguenza l'allegato II,

HA ADOTTATO IL PRESENTE REGOLAMENTO:

Articolo 1

L'allegato II del regolamento (CE) n. 2368/2002 è sostituito dall'allegato del presente regolamento.

Articolo 2

Il presente regolamento entra in vigore il giorno della pubblicazione sulla Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea. Esso si applica a decorrere dal 1o agosto 2005.

Il presente regolamento è obbligatorio in tutti i suoi elementi e direttamente applicabile in ciascuno degli Stati membri. Fatto a Bruxelles, il 3 agosto 2005. Per la Commissione Benita Ferrero-Waldner Membro della Commissione
